Hi there, and welcome to this new chapter I'm stepping into. My name is Jokasty, but most people call me Jo. For those who don’t know me, I'm 29 years old and grew up here in Idaho. I moved away to attend culinary school, where I earned my degree in baking and pastry. After that, I took a step back for a while—I got married, worked as a nanny, gained some bonus children, and recently welcomed my first child.

I've always loved the creative side of baking, and now, I finally feel it's time to dive back in and explore what this new chapter could hold. As a new mother, I wasn't sure what to expect, but now more than ever, I want the ability to spend time with my son while having something that’s mine. That’s where the idea for Nica Bake & Co was born.

My family immigrated from Nicaragua and built a life here, something I'm incredibly proud of. I want to share that part of me with you by bringing family recipes and Central American flavors to life. Follow me on this journey—I'm so grateful and excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for your support!
